Apologies for the delayed post, we’ve had a busy few months. So much has happened since the last post. We hosted our 7th Birthday party, which was amazing fun; we pulled out all the stops and had ab balloon modeler, face painter, nail art station and a DJ. It was lots of fun and the perfect way to celebrate our Birthday with you all.
The Easter break saw us welcoming so many of you, as always it’s fantastic to see the place drumming with excitement and to see all the children’s enthusiastic faces. We have been running a free promotion over the Easter holidays to win a child’s scooter for everyone who purchased a slush
– the winning ticket number was 344 – which is yet to be claimed, so please check your purses and wallets!
We are pleased to let you know Astrabound is committed to keeping our customers healthy. Whilst having a treat is always good, we have noted that we do need to add a selection of healthy options as well! So now you will see freshly prepared fruit pots, healthy jelly pots, veg pots and small bottles of water can be added to the children’s lunch boxes. Over the coming weeks we will be offering even more healthy items, so feel free to provide us with your suggestions – after all it is our customers who have driven this introduction.
Whilst we’re on the topic of new offerings, we must take this time to tell you about our new Iced Caramel Frappe, it’s delicious, and a refreshing way to get that caffeine boost.
Toddler days have resumed after the Easter celebrations and we have some fantastic activities going on wit h many more planned for the imminent future. We have a live Butterfly habitat, this is such a fantastic and educational introduction for the children. This consists of four lively caterpillars, which are growing daily. Over the next 4 – 6 weeks they will go through every stage of their natural life cycle. We will then set free the fully grown butterflies with the help of the children – we can’t wait!
Our next event in May is one we are really excited about. Once again, after the success last year, we are running an Educational Work Shop week. It was so popular and subsequently we have been asked when we will be running one again. The week will run from Monday 18th May 2015 – Friday 22nd May 2015, between 10:00am – 3:00pm. Children’s meals will be reduced to £2.50, SAVING £1.
Each day will be themed, the children will be planting and growing their own sunflowers to take home, learning how to care for animals and much, much more. They will also receive an Astrabound certificate of learning. Probably the most exciting part of the week and a first for Astrabound is on Thursday 21st May 2015, between 11:00am – 1:00pm we have some fury friends visiting! Guinea pigs and Rabbits for you to hold, pet and learn about. So be sure to come along, all the fun is included in our standard admission prices!
We look forward to seeing you all soon, and as ever if you have any suggestions/feedback we’d love
to hear from you so reach out to us via one of our many avenues.
Ben, Sue and the AB team x
